Inauguration Day Bike Valet?
It’s something we wondered about, and it seems like folks are working on it, so that’s good.
Given the size of the expected Inauguration crowds, though….I dunno….I’m a bit…leery.
I saw (and used) bike valet at Outside Lands - it was ridiculous - so many bikes. I mean, it was awesome, but it was ridiculous. For a big event, the demand for bicycle infrastructure, like valet bike parking, is on another level.
Outside Lands had on the order of 60,000 total attendees on its busiest day. Downtown DC might see 10 to 30 times that.
