Local CouchSurfer Injured In Bicycle Crash
Hi all,
My friend / roomie Caitanya ended up in SF General ER yesterday after a nasty bike accident. She doesn’t remember what happened but she either hit a pothole, tracks or was hit by one of the idiot SF drivers.She’s got some broken ribs, possibly a punctured lung, a broken collarbone and multiple contusions / roadrash.
I went to the hospital around 6 after I got the call from SF General and she was in a looooooooot of pain and on painkillers, a drip and all that hospital goodness.
Susan and Tanya went to visit also and poor Tanya passed out, hit her head and had to be kept overnight too! I brought Tanya home this morning so she’s okay, just needs rest. I got home around 3am after multiple visits and hanging around the hospital with Susan. We’ll be going back today.
Anyway, I would like any of you who know Cai to send your best wishes to her. You can use this thread or if you’re a friend send her a private message here on CS or via e-mail or text message - she loves sms!
