		<description>Well it's really interesting you wrote this, because a north-south and east-west bike boulevard or other facility is one of the things on the Austin Bike Plan petition drive we just started. We're still working on that very incomplete network of bicycle infrastructure, and will be for the foreseeable future.

Car-free streets down here are, of course, just a dream for now. Texas is definitely a place where cars rule, even in Austin. Now obviously, there's absolutely no comparison between the level of urban density in Austin vs. SF, but still...</description>

		<description>That would be awesome.  I'm getting stuck all over the city because Muni doesn't have a North South subway.  I'd certainly ride instead of there were bike only streets.</description>
